In 2017, Renewlogy successfully entered into an agreement with Canadian waste company Sustane Technologies to setup a large-scale plastic conversion system at their site in Chester, Nova Scotia. This was after years of validation: Renewlogy completed a successful pilot at the University of Utah in 2012-2013 and ongoing successful demonstration at commercial-scale in Salt Lake City, Utah since 2014. Renewlogy successfully completed cold and warm commissioning of the system in Salt Lake City in Spring 2018 before transporting it to Chester.
